Training Plans

Our Training Philosophy comes from experiencing and learning the systems of all the top Distance coaches, and combining all their best attributes and things that work.   

This training plan is the culmination of those training systems, experimented on ourselves, with in our own training.  We specialize in helping athletes both Male and Female attaining Boston qualifiers and Olympic Trials qualifiers.

Here is an example of the last 4 weeks in a 12 week buildup we wrote for Andrea Toppin.  Her goal this winter is to hit the Olympic Trials standard of 2:45 at the California International Marathon, along with current pace ranges (which change throughout the cycle), and the supplementary exercises she follows.

Take what you'd like from the below, but we encourage you not to try to jump right into a program like this without some guidance or experience.  Andrea is able to complete this training because of the buildup we brought her through and the workouts that came before this.  Mileage, workouts, and paces are customized to your individual needs as an athlete.  It's not the individual workouts that prepare you for race day, it's the culmination of the cycle.
